Shana Figueroa, Writer/Director

Shana Figueroa is a graduate student of film at Emerson College in Boston, MA, with an expected graduation date of May 2024. Before getting into film, she spent 20 years in the US Air Force as an aerospace engineer, after which she decided to switch careers and cultivate her creative side. She’s written seven novels and dozens of short stories, as well as written, directed, and produced many successful short films including Pandora and The Long Dark Spring Break of the Soul.

Shana loves the horror and comedy genres the most, and often uses her military background and family experiences as inspiration. She also loves video games, martial arts, and portly pugs. After Forever War, she plans to produce a feature length film about an estranged mother and daughter who become trapped in a house together and must fight for their lives after accidentally conjuring the vengeful spirit of Bloody Mary.

Masoud Arabkouchehkhatibi, Director of Photography

Masoud Arabkouchehkhatibi is an Iranian filmmaker and cinematographer with a Medical Doctorate degree from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Science in Tehran, Iran. Following his childhood dream for filmmaking, he completed his master’s in film theory at Sooreh College of Fine Arts before immigrating to the United States in 2016.

Recently, in May 2023, he graduated from Emerson College with an MFA in Visual and Media Arts. Currently, he enjoys teaching filmmaking at Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School while collaborating on various film projects in the Greater Boston area. With humility and dedication, Masoud continues to explore the art of storytelling through the lens of his camera. He loves watching movies, reading about movies, writing about movies, and making movies! He also likes football (soccer).


Geanny Elizabeth, Hair and Makeup Artist

Geanny Elizabeth has been a short-film and freelance makeup artist since 2020. She has worked on many MA based short films not only as a makeup artist but as a Behind the Scenes Photographer with over 6 years of experience. She has recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design and she is currently pursuing her passion in freelance makeup artistry/ photography and is exploring her newfound love for movie making.


Jen Greeke, Costume Designer

Jen is a costume designer and artist based in Massachusetts. She designs for Film, Dance, Theater and Opera. Jen graduated with her BFA in fashion design from Parsons School of Design in 2004 and she received her MFA in costume design from NYU’s Tisch school in 2007. Jen has worked and designed for various size productions from big Hollywood films to small one woman shows. Jen enjoys bringing characters and the story to life with her work no matter what the genre.

John Potvin as Sergeant John Dow

John Potvin is a full time actor from the Boston area who has starred in several award winning short films. He started his career onstage in high school at the age of 18, he switched career paths four years later to pursue acting full time, never looking back.


Paul E. Kandarian as John Senior

Paul E. Kandarian is a full-time actor who has appeared in a variety of movies, TV shows and commercials on platforms including The History Channel, Lifetime, Hulu, Hallmark, Amazon Prime, German Network TV and many others, as well as doing educational, corporate videos and instructional videos.


Julia Radochia as Elaine

Julia Radochia is now too old to write a concise bio but she’ll try. She loves acting in films as well as writing and directing them. She took a long break from all of it during the earlier years of motherhood and returned to acting in late 2021 when her younger daughter started kindergarten. 

Julia’s most notable recent film is the horror/comedy short “Goose Egg,” in which she had a lead role in and is making festival rounds now. The most successful short film she wrote and directed is  “I Just Want to Eat My Sandwich”, which still is getting frequent views on YouTube. (Thanks Pokemon fans.)


Ali Dusinberre as Louise

Ali Dusinberre is a TV/film actor based in Boston. She began pursuing acting during her senior year at Northeastern University, where she graduated magna cum laude in 2022 with a B.A. in journalism. She’s since taken part in a diverse range of indie film projects throughout the Northeast and looks forward to the next steps in her acting career.


Kendall as Young Jessie

Kendall is an actor, writer, and model born in Rhode Island. With a diverse background, she has worked in various short and feature films, including the upcoming Lifetime title “Acting Coach Nightmare,” and the highly anticipated “Good Burger 2.” Kendall graduated from the University of Rhode Island with studies in Creative Writing, Graphic Design, Business Entrepreneurship, and Acting.

Currently, she is actively seeking speaking roles in film and television. Kendall is particularly drawn to characters with depth and emotional complexity, where she can delve into their motivations and internal struggles.


Lisa Kay King as Older Jessie

Lisa Kay King is excited to be a “survivor” of the Forever War. Lisa is a member of Actor’s Equity and has performed in regional theaters the Midwest and the East Coast. Some of her favorite roles are Mrs. Paroo in The Mucisman, Mrs. Holly in Suddenly Last Summer, and Janine in The Niceties. Recently, Lisa has created characters for several films including The Piece and Emerald Lounge. She is grateful to her friends and family for their continued support.
